The metering solution enables remote real-time measurement and data acquisition from different types of meters, through an IoT connector or a standard communication interface.

- Meter types including energy, gas, water, sewage and air quality.
- Connection through an IoT connector, or standard Ethernet and GPRS interfaces.
- Flexible configuration — it can virtually enable measuring or connecting to any type of device or equipment.

Worth it when
- You need plant-level diagnostics rather than daily totals.
- Manual reading across a large estate has become the bottleneck.
- Tenant or outlet recharging needs to be measured, not estimated.
- You are already investing in submetering hardware.
Not required because
HEP is designed to make use of the existing infrastructure and practices of hotels. The whole platform — daily and monthly tracking, 110 reports, regression analysis, submetering, carbon and waste — runs on manual readings, invoices and Excel connectors. The IoT module adds depth. It is not a prerequisite, and no part of the portal is withheld without it.
