Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur
The Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, a prestigious five-star property nestled in the heart of Malaysia's bustling capital, stands adjacent to the iconic KLCC Park and the Petronas Twin Towers, commencing operations in 2018. Rising majestically in a 65-story tower, the hotel's contemporary design stands as the 4th tallest structure in Malaysia, soaring to a height of 344.5 meters. Featuring 14 floors housing a total of 209 accommodations, including 198 guestrooms, 11 suites, and 27 serviced apartments, the upper 44 floors host the Four Seasons private residences. The property also boasts 5 exceptional dining outlets, expansive event spaces spanning 1,767m2, an 8-treatment room SPA, and an outdoor infinity pool with a jacuzzi. Notably, the hotel was meticulously crafted with energy efficiency and sustainability at its core, featuring state-of-the-art facilities such as an energy-efficient HVAC system, a comprehensive Building Management System (BMS), a Guest Room Management System (GRMS), LED lighting throughout, Heat Pumps for water heating, and high-efficiency glazing across the tower.
Four Seasons Resort Langkawi
Nestled within the pristine Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark, Four Seasons Resort Langkawi offers a luxurious beachfront escape amidst stunning natural landscapes. Set between a picturesque sandy beach and towering limestone cliffs, the resort is enveloped by mangrove forests, meandering rivers, and ancient sea stacks. The accommodation comprises 92 rooms, including 68 Pavilions, 19 Beach Villas with private plunge pools, 3 Three-Bedroom Villas, and 2 Royal Villas spread across a total built-up area of approximately 22,000 m2 on a sprawling land area of 356,100 m2. The property also features a 6-treatment room Geo SPA, a well-appointed fitness area with a tennis court, adult and family pools, and four enticing F&B outlets. Additionally, the resort offers 1,115 m2 of function spaces and a GeoPark discovery center. Since its inception in 2005, the property has undergone various renovations and upgrades to enhance its energy and sustainability profile, including a Sewage Treatment Plant with recycled water for irrigation, all-LED lighting, and high-efficiency cooling systems.
Aligned with the luxury hospitality company’s environmental objectives, EEG performed ASHRAE Level 2 energy audits, water audits, and crafted a zero-carbon transition plan for both properties. This concerted effort resulted in the formulation of a roadmap featuring prioritized Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) and Water Conservation Measures (WCMs) for each property. These initiatives highlight the properties' unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship.
