The Audit Process

EEG undertook ASHRAE Level 2 Energy Audits for Address Beach Resort and Vida Beach Resort to identify key opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency, reducing energy consumption, and supporting sustainable hospitality practices, with a specific focus on Low ΔT mitigation related to their district cooling connection. The audits were conducted in close coordination with the engineering and facilities teams at both properties to ensure accurate data collection and relevant recommendations.

The comprehensive audit process included a detailed analysis of all building systems and operations, with particular attention paid to the district cooling systems, a vital element of energy performance for both properties in Bahrain's climate.

Key Findings and Recommendations

For each property, EEG identified and recommended over 10 targeted Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs), including a tailored Low Delta T Mitigation Plan for the district cooling connection. This plan details specific steps both resorts can implement to enhance Delta T in their chilled water circuits, ensuring peak performance of their cooling systems and supporting the overall efficiency of the district cooling network. All measures were adapted to the operational characteristics and architectural limitations of each resort.

As ESG performance and regulatory expectations evolve across the region, EEG remains committed to delivering expert energy consulting services that help hotels not only meet but exceed their sustainability goals.
