Mövenpick Resort El Quseir Overview
In line with Accor’s sustainability program and the associated energy auditing scope, the resort engaged EEG to perform an ASHRAE Level 2 energy audit and develop a decarbonization plan. The project was initiated in April and completed in July 2024, resulting in a comprehensive roadmap of diverse energy efficiency measures. If fully implemented, these measures have the potential to achieve up to a 45% reduction in the resort’s carbon footprint, marking a significant milestone in the hotel's ongoing journey towards sustainability and environmental responsibility.
