In Ghana, EEG has signed a year-long agreement with the Moevenpick Ambassador Hotel for continuous energy consulting. Working closely with the hotel’s engineering department, the objective is to ensure that the property is optimising its utility use and operating its various technical services effectively. The contract follows EEG’s energy audit of the property in 2013, and the subsequent two-phased LED retrofit project which changed over 95 percent of the existing lighting.

Back in the Middle East region, EEG has completed the energy audit for Foch 94, a prime residential and retail property in Lebanon. The project was carried out in collaboration with Solidere, the acting Facility Management company. The energy audit covered all the common areas, with the final report showing possible utility cost reductions of over 25 percent through the implementation of a variety of Efficiency Measures.

EEG has signed a further three new energy audits contracts in Lebanon: Saifi Suites, which is a four-star boutique hotel; Maison de l’Avocat /Bayt el Mouhame, which is the HQ of the Beirut Bar association; and Hammoud  Hospital University Medical Centre.
