EEG is delighted to announce its successful bid for the Provision of Energy Audit Services under a Long Term Agreement (LTA) with UNDP Lebanon, encompassing over 120 facilities.
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Lebanon is actively engaged in bolstering the energy sector through diverse initiatives in renewable energy and energy efficiency. With a focus on aiding Lebanon in reshaping its power infrastructure towards greater reliance on distributed renewable energy generation, UNDP aims to support critical institutions amidst the current crisis. Energy Audits play a pivotal role within this context by identifying and quantifying the most effective energy efficiency measures to curtail end-user energy consumption.
The primary objective of the LTA project is to furnish technical assistance to various projects under the purview of the UNDP country office in Lebanon. EEG has been entrusted with the task of conducting requisite energy assessments in targeted institutional and industrial facilities, with a specific focus on ASHRAE Level II energy audits or equivalent standards, spanning both public and private sector establishments.
Commencing in January 2024, the project is slated for a duration of 2 years, with the possibility of extension.
