EEG is happy to announce that it is working on a Design and Build project covering a new Water-cooled chilled water plant with seawater cooling.

This innovative project will transform the existing 8xair-cooled chillers (Total of 1600RT capacity) plant to a high-efficiency one with a forecasted improvement of more than 35% on the overall electricity consumption.

The project involves the installation of new high-efficiency water-cooled chillers with a seawater/geothermal condenser cooling system as well as a new chiller plant management system.

Works have been initiated on the premises and the forecasted electricity savings would top the 880,000 KWh annually offsetting 582 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
