EEG conducts an Energy, Water and Carbon Audit for Four Seasons Hotel Amman

Four Seasons Hotel Amman is situated atop the highest of Amman’s seven hills, boasting a blend of modern elegance and traditional Jordanian architecture, characterized by sleek lines, expansive windows, and luxurious materials reflecting the region's cultural heritage. Opened in 2003 and last renovated in 2021, the property features 192 meticulously designed rooms, including 29 suites, a 350m² spa with indoor and outdoor pools, 5 F&B outlets, and a total of 3,007m² of function areas. The total built-up area of the hotel is 47,500m²

The hotel's sustainability stewardship includes the following initiatives:

  • Partnership with Green Wheels to recycle bottle caps and donate money to children with cerebral palsy for wheelchairs, physiotherapy and education
  • La Capitale partners with Jordan River Foundation to support economic empowerment in the Kingdom's communities
  • Donates to King Hussein Cancer Foundation
  • Works with Youth Career Initiative, an organisation focused on youth development, to offer six-month training courses
  • Collaborates with the Jordanian Food Bank to donate food parcels to the less fortunate in Jordan
  • Focus on energy efficiency with 100% LED light, BMS and GRMS installations, high-efficiency chillers, and refrigeration heat recovery system.

In line with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts' "Four Seasons for Good" program, the hotel engaged EEG to perform an ASHRAE Level 2 energy audit, a water audit, and develop a zero-carbon transition. This comprehensive project produced a roadmap of diverse Energy Efficiency Measures and Water Conservation Measures, marking a significant milestone in the hotel's continuous journey towards sustainability and environmental responsibility.
