EEG conducted the energy audit for Anassa Hotel in Polis, Cyprus

Anassa ( meaning 'queen' in ancient Greek ) is located in Polis, on Cyprus's northwest coast, nestled on the fringes of Akamas National Park. Spanning 20 acres of rolling hills, this complex’s 166 accommodations cascade gently through lush gardens, lawns, and pools to the serene beach and crystal-clear waters of Chrysochou Bay.

This sanctuary of refined luxury seamlessly blends traditional charm with contemporary elegance. The whitewashed architecture, adorned with vibrant flora, harmonizes with the breathtaking Mediterranean panorama. Since its inauguration in 1998, the resort has offered a distinctive experience, boasting three outdoor pools, 18 private pools, and a Roman-style indoor pool, all heated.

Furthermore, Anassa houses an expansive SPA Thalassa, featuring a rejuvenating thalassotherapy pool, 18 treatment rooms, saunas, steam baths, saltwater squash court, and a fitness room. The culinary experience is equally rich, with four restaurants and bars, complemented by three function areas and a Byzantine chapel.

In compliance with EU directives 27/2012, EEG conducted an exhaustive energy audit at Anassa Hotel, adhering to European Standards ΕΝ 16247-1:2012, EN16247-2:2014, and ΕΝ16247-3:2014. The comprehensive report mapped out 22 Energy Efficiency Measures, projecting potential energy savings of 25%, excluding the Renewable Energy initiatives.

The audit will support the property's ongoing efforts to bolster its sustainability footprint, aligning seamlessly with its ESG program and its strategic plan for growth and environmental stewardship.
