EEG completed the Energy, Water and Carbon audit for the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest

Four Seasons Gresham Palace Budapest stands as a grand symbol of luxury and elegance in the heart of Hungary's capital. Originally built in 1906 as the Gresham Life Insurance Company headquarters, it occupies a prime location on the Danube's banks, at the foot of the iconic Chain Bridge.

Meticulously restored in 2004, this Art Nouveau masterpiece embodies the spirit of Budapest's Golden Era glam. The hotel boasts 179 rooms spread across 5 floors and a total built-up area of about 31,000m2. Beyond the luxurious accommodations, it features a variety of amenities, including:

  • Nearly 937 m2 of dedicated event space for meetings or celebrations.
  • Two signature outlets (KOLLÁZS - Brasserie & Bar and MÚZSA Bar)
  • A sprawling 1,800m2 SPA   with an infinity-edge indoor pool.

They've taken steps like eliminating plastic straws and single-use plastics, sourcing cage-free eggs, and implementing selective waste collection. Additionally, the property tracks carbon emissions and is switching to renewable energy sources,

To further these goals, the hotel partnered with EEG to conduct a comprehensive energy and water audit, culminating in a zero-carbon transition plan. This plan outlines various Energy Efficiency and Water Conservation Measures, underscoring the hotel's commitment to environmental stewardship.
