The Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay debuted in March 2015, nestled on a sprawling, 5-hectare private man-made island within the Bahrain Bay development, at the core of Manama, Bahrain's capital. This architectural masterpiece graces the skyline with its 68 floors, accommodating a total of 273 rooms and suites. The property encompasses a 3,485m2 spa featuring 17 treatment rooms, an array of 7 food and beverage outlets, 3 pools including a waterpark, and an expansive 3,272m2 of function spaces. The entire hotel spans a built-up area of around 55,000 m2.
From its inception, this property was built with a commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability and has continually strived to reduce its carbon footprint through various ongoing projects and improvements.
As part of the luxury hospitality company's environmental best practices, the hotel engaged EEG to conduct an ASHRAE Level 2 energy audit, a water audit, and the formulation of a zero-carbon transition plan. The successful completion of this project resulted in a roadmap of actionable steps, with the final report issued in Q4 2023, marking another milestone in the hotel's journey toward sustainability and environmental responsibility
