Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is a landmark 11-story property located near Hyde Park Corner in central London. It was built in 1970 as the Inn on the Park London and underwent a comprehensive head-to-toe renovation in 2011. The built-up area is about 21,600m² comprising a total of 193 rooms and suites, the Amaranto Restaurant, bar, and lounge, along with the 9 treatment rooms’ rooftop Spa with the vitality pools and fitness area.

During the 2011 renovation, energy efficiency was already considered from design and contracting perspectives with a number of actions and installations, such as a comprehensive BMS, a GRMS (Guest Rooms Management System), VFDs on most AHUs and pumps, along with a CHP that is well integrated to the electrical and space heating/domestic hot water systems.

8 years after the full renovation, EEG’s tasks were to review the existing infrastructure and operations and provide a road map of Efficiency Measures with the detailed technical and economical feasibility.

The audit was carried between the months of February and April 2019 with the final report submitted detailing all recommendations with the potential electrical and thermal energy savings.
