The property has four key utility supplies: electricity, natural gas, and diesel driving the hot water/steam boilers, as well as water.
The Hotel management was looking to have an energy audit to optimize all its various utilities' consumptions and improve the related sustainability footprint.
EEG completed an ASHRAE Level 2 Energy Audit with a comprehensive analysis of the current infrastructure and operations in relation to the utilities and provided a road map of 14 Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) with the individual technical and economic analysis as well as prioritization starting with the Low Cost/no Cost actions. The combined EEMs provided potential savings of 24% on electricity and 15% on thermal energy.
The energy audit was initiated in September 2021 and completed in December 2021.
