Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti is a luxurious, immersive safari retreat located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Serengeti National Park.  The lodge's architecture blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape and Its thatched-roof accommodations are thoughtfully designed to provide unobstructed views of the savannah. The property consists of 72 guestrooms, four private Villas, and a Presidential Villa scattered over an area of over 175,000 m² in the heart of the Serengeti.  In addition, The lodge includes the Kani Spa with six treatment rooms, while the main house benefits from one of the most celebrated infinity pools in the world which is nestled adjacent to an active watering hole where the wildlife visit daily.

Sustainability is central to the ethos of the Lodge.  Since the beginning of its operation programmes have been developed to leverage rainwater harvesting, full water recycling, energy-efficient lighting as well as waste segregation for recycling. 

In addition, The Lodge is home to the Discovery Centre which serves as the heart of the Lodge's sustainability initiatives, featuring museum-quality exhibits and a lecture area that aims to engage guests with the rich tapestry of the Serengeti and Tanzania, encompassing its people, culture, environment, and local wildlife.

As part of the luxury hospitality company's environmental best practices, EEG was contracted to complete an ASHRAE Level 2 energy audit, a water audit, and a zero-carbon transition plan. The project was successfully completed with the road map of actions and the final report issued in July 2023.
