The Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca is committed to sustainability and has implemented several initiatives to minimize its environmental impact. Some of the key sustainability features include:

  • Energy and Water Conservation: The hotel has measures in place to reduce energy and water consumption.
  • Waste Reduction: The hotel eliminated single-use plastic food and beverage containers and has a comprehensive recycling program.
  • Sustainable Food Practices: The hotel sources responsibly, offering vegan and vegetarian menu options. It also uses Winnow technology in the kitchens to track, measure, and reduce food waste.
  • Community Engagement: The hotel supports local biodiversity through annual beach clean-ups and donates linens to local orphanages. It features local artists and artisans throughout the hotel.
  • Eco-friendly Products: The hotel uses eco-certified cleaning products and primarily sources spa products from Moroccan businesses.

As part of the luxury hospitality company's commitment to environmental sustainability and the ‘Four Seasons for Good’ program', the hotel engaged EEG to conduct an ASHRAE Level 2 energy audit, a water audit, and the formulation of a zero-carbon transition plan. The successful completion of this project resulted in a roadmap of actionable steps, helping the properties in their journey toward sustainability and environmental responsibility.
