EEG carried out an energy audit for the St. Raphael Resort & Marina in Limassol, Cyprus

The St. Raphael Resort & Marina in Cyprus stands as a premier 5-star beachfront establishment, boasting 272 luxurious rooms and suites nestled along the Limassol shore. Its allure extends with three expansive outdoor pools, a private marina, and direct access to a pristine sandy beach.

Spanning approximately 43,000 square meters, this resort houses a comprehensive spa, a well-equipped fitness center, a range of water sports facilities, diverse dining options, and versatile event spaces.

Embedded within its ethos is a mission to champion eco-friendliness and sustainability in the realm of luxury hospitality. Over the years, the property has actively reduced its environmental impact by curbing electricity and water consumption, minimizing the use of harmful chemicals in cleaning products and toiletries, eradicating single-use plastics whenever feasible, and implementing upcycling and recycling initiatives spanning from paper to furniture.

In accordance with this vision, the management has opted to conduct an Energy Audit, aiming to map out a path toward improved energy and water efficiency. EEG Cyprus was selected to spearhead this project and has successfully completed an ASHRAE Level 2 energy audit comprehensively covering the property's infrastructure and operations . The final report identified 16 Energy Efficiency Measures and 4 Water Conservation Measures, accompanied by a net-zero pathway. This strategic roadmap will guide the property's long-term actions, driving towards the overarching goal of achieving Net Zero status.
