Strategic Energy Roadmaps Completed by Q4 2025

To further solidify their leadership in sustainable hospitality, the properties partnered with EEG to conduct detailed ASHRAE Level 2 energy audits, which were successfully completed by the end of 2025.

  • Pullman Nairobi Upper Hill: The audit identified a comprehensive roadmap of 15 efficiency measures that could yield total annual cost savings exceeding 35%.
  • Mercure Nairobi Upper Hill: A strategic plan consisting of 10 key Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) was developed. If implemented, these measures will provide annual energy savings of approximately 21% and a 14% reduction in total utility costs.

These findings provide both Pullman and Mercure Nairobi Upper Hill with a clear, actionable roadmap to reduce operational costs while further enhancing their commitment to environmental stewardship in the heart of Kenya's capital.
